I've known Alex for a couple years, and let me just say he is an incredible person. Not only is his Spanish pronunciation excellent and is fluent, but his passion to learn more about the Latin Culture each time we meet is awesome! I am Mexican-American, and speak English and Spanish fluently, and I can honestly say I can speak with Alex in both languages comfortably! I've never had him as a tutor, but we worked together in the tutor lab at the university we both attended, and I've have seen how he works with others. He is very energetic, easily approachable, has patience, and has also a very creative way of explaining things to the students, which I believe would be very helpful in memorizing the material, and making it easier to retrieve later on. Also, he is always trying hard to learn the Spanish language to a greater depth, whether it be pronunciation of words or different slag between different Latin American countries and Spain. In all honestly, I would highly recommend Alex as a tutor. Not only will Alex it make it easier to learn Spanish, but he will also make it enjoyable for the student.

Alex helped me pass my final Spanish class in college with one of the most challenging professors. He doesn’t just tell you what you need to know, he makes you work towards the answer on your own. As a Spanish native speaker I was amazed by Alex's Spanish level! I met him at Blackbird Studio. Every time we'd work shifts together we'd speak exclusively in Spanish. Must confess sometimes Alex was even more fluent than me. Plus he's a true professional. He's always on time and always has a very positive attitude. Overall Alex is a great guy!
