About Emily
I have been working with children for many years at my church. There we go over bible lessons and discuss the content learned to understand critically what the lesson is about. In tutoring, I will use the skills I have learned here to apply to the tutoring sessions.
I also have a degree from the University of Georgia where I learned many different communications styles to connect and learn with people.

First, I will evaluate the ability of the student and start at the level the student is the most comfortable with. From there, I will challenge the student with each additional level until the student feels confident in their Spanish abilities.
A typical lesson plan will start with what homework the student has or what their class is going over. From there we will practice vocabulary, grammar, writing, and listening and discuss anything they need more clarity for. This further discussion for extra clarity will help with understanding and retention of the knowledge and skills gained. This also helps the student have a greater ability to use their Spanish abilities.
I am able to tutor students K-college in Spanish.
