About Erin
I am a current college student at Confederation College in Canada, and I'm studying Library and Information Technology.
I've been working for years as a transcriptionist (caption writer) and have worked on projects for Condé Nast Entertainment, The University of Missouri, and YouTube channel The Valleyfolk. I love to read and write in my spare time, as well as going hiking, attending concerts, cooking and spending quality time with my fiancée and our cat!

My teaching methodology is to tailor my lesson plan to your learning goals. I would love to discuss first your level of study and skill in spoken and written English, and from there we can set realistic steps to meet your goal.
For example: if you are a college student hoping to improve your written grammar, we can focus our lessons 1. Identifying mistakes and areas in which you would like to improve, and 2. Getting you experience writing different things (such as cover letters, fake news articles etc.) that will help you become more comfortable with proper situational grammar.
I would be willing to do lessons for high school-aged students to college students, ESL as well. I am comfortable tutoring in grammar, written and spoken English, reading comprehension, literature, creative writing and technical writing.
