About Mollie
I am a college student studying wildlife conservation biology, with a strong interest in how living systems connect and function in the real world. I enjoy helping high school biology students move beyond memorization and actually understand the concepts. I focus on clear explanations, patience, and making biology feel more approachable and less intimidating.

My teaching method focuses on breaking biology into simple, step-by-step explanations instead of memorization. Each lesson typically includes a quick review of prior concepts, guided explanation of new material, practice questions, and active checking for understanding.
I tailor each session to the student's pace and learning style. What sets me apart is my focus on helping students truly understand why concepts work, not just what the answer is. I'm responsive to student questions between sessions and aim to help clarify confusion quickly so learning continues outside of tutoring time.
These lessons are designed for high school biology students, including those who feel behind, overwhelmed, or preparing for exams.
