About Michael
I have a PhD in English literature and have experience teaching tons of different types of students. My personal academic interests lie in 20th century American novels, representations of WWII, and the ever-evolving landscape of mis/dis-information. I love to learn about new topics, especially ones that are student-driven.

I believe in challenging you to think critically while building a supportive learning community. In my lessons, we'll discuss complex ideas together, then practice applying them with personalized guidance. Unlike other tutors, I see writing as a way to develop thoughts, not just record them. I work with undergraduate humanities students who want to turn writing from a chore into a powerful tool.
