About Casey
I have been studying Arabic intensively for four years, including 8 weeks in Meknes, Morocco. I've been tutoring students for about a year in person.
Students learn how the basics of Modern Standard Arabic really work, as opposed to learning about the language. I studied using the al-Kitaab series, and I've analyzed other textbooks for my final project at Hampshire College, so I am familiar with the material and existing systems.

I give lessons to anyone that wants to learn Modern Standard Arabic. My senior project at Hampshire College, in Amherst, MA, was writing about the history of Arabic teaching in the USA, and I'm currently at Boston University as the only graduate student in the Arabic education track.
I can help with vocabulary retention, the verb chart, grammar (the dual, idaafa, al-masdar, etc) and conversation.
