About Harmony
I am a college sophomore who attends Biola University where I major in Cinema and Media Arts. Despite my major, however, I’ve spent the better half of my high school years as well as recent college semesters, tutoring kids in reading and math and found that it was something I would like to continue doing. My most recent job was at La Pluma Elementary School in La Mirada, California where I tutored second and third graders in reading and math.

I provide one-on-one and small group tutoring in math and reading to elementary school students, looking to improve their comprehension and foundational skills.
I use engaging, age-appropriate activities to reinforce key concepts in phonics, reading fluency, addition, subtraction, and number sense.
I will also adapt my teaching strategies to support students with learning challenges or attention difficulties.
