I am a college sophomore majoring in finance, with two years of experience mentoring children with special needs. While my focus was on social skill development, I also completed high school in three years with high honor recognition, and am comfortable with SAT, ACT, AP, and advanced materials in English and math.

My teaching method is adaptable, as to best fit the needs of the person I am teaching. My approach as a tutor has always been to listen first, and redirect rather than reprimand. Rather than saying “no,” or “that is wrong,” I prefer to redirect with “what if we tried..” or another encouraging phrase, to acknowledge all the work my student is doing to ascertain new knowledge.
