About Shivani
I am an undergraduate student at UMass double majoring in Public Health and Nutrition on a pre-PA track. In high school, I have taken honors Chemistry and AP Chemistry. In college, I have completed Chem 111 and Chem 112 with labs and finished them all with high grades. This year, I will continue my education in chemistry by taking organic chemistry.

My teaching approach is to build upon the basics. Often in the sciences, especially chemistry, students do not have a solid understanding of the basics. This lack of understanding causes problems further along the course when skills are built upon these basic understandings. I will also help them be confident in their knowledge by going over many practice problems.
