I am myself a college student and I can understand the difficulties faced by the students in solving conceptual questions.
In case of mathematics it's just a game of learning formulas and understanding the methodology.
For computers one should know how to relate objects and create a logic between it.

I can simplify the concepts by not going in too details but by clearing out all the relatable logics.
Especially for mathematics where each question is different from another but the basic part is only concept and formula based.
For computers a student should be able to relate things and not learn it word to word because that's not required.
