About Meg
Hi, my name is Meg Hoops! I am a college student at UCSC. I love kids, and dream of being a teacher one day. Kids are so creative, and they bring something unique and fun to the table. My goal in regards to becoming a teacher is to ignite the spark and passion for learning. There is so much to discover! I am passionate about travel, language, food, the outdoors, and so much more! :)

My teaching methods are based on lessons that are active and engaging for students. I want them to learn and grow in spanish. Spanish, or learning a new language in general, requires practice, practice, practice! That means being open to trying new things, and being ok with making mistakes! My goal is to incorporate creative and rich lessons that push students to learn daily! Each student is unique and different. We all learn differently, and I try my best to accommodate students, and teach with how they UNIQUELY learn in mind. I am new to tutoring Spanish, but I am confident that as a new tutor I can grow and develop with my students!
