About Christelle
I am an ambitious LAU student with an advanced level of English. I have tutored throughout my teenage years - both people close to me and others who needed help. I am passionate about teaching and helping others improve. My interests lie in human psychology and personality, which allows me to tailor lessons to each student's needs. This approach helps students succeed in both short-term goals (such as exam preparation) and long-term learning (like general language development). Having studied at a "double baccalaureate" school that provided both the French (mandatory) and Lebanese Baccalaureate, and later enrolling at LAU, I am familiar with students from different academic backgrounds. I am fluent in Arabic, French, and English.

My Teaching Method: I don’t believe in having a single teaching method for all students. Each student is a different individual and therefore deserves his or her own teaching method based on his or her age, level of English proficiency, and perceived personality. During the first free session, I let the student explain to me the purpose of these tutoring lessons and why they are needed. Based on that, I decide which approach to use with the student.
A Typical Lesson Plan: That depends on who the student is, how many sessions per week they want, and whether the tutoring is short-term (like for exam preparation) or long-term. For example, for exam preparation, you can expect 3–5 sessions per week, covering vocabulary, writing, grammar, and speaking, taught through both traditional methods (e.g., books, PowerPoints, tests, homework, mock exams) and more creative ones (movie/documentary watching as homework, not during the sessions, with commentary and tests during the sessions), games, debates, and more.
What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor: In two words: Personalized learning. As I mentioned earlier, I don’t have a standard teaching method or lesson plan for all students. In fact, I take my time studying each person’s English level, desired objectives from the lessons, and personality so that I can provide them with the best possible outcome in the shortest time period, using only the necessary number of hours. Personalized learning allows you to avoid wasting money and to learn with someone who cares enough to understand what teaching methods work for you specifically. I am ready to be that person and provide you or your child with the best results possible.
