About Samantha
Hi! My name is Samantha, and I am a college student studying business with a strong passion for helping students feel more confident in math. I offer tutoring for elementary and middle school students in subjects such as math, pre-algebra, and algebra.
I am patient, organized, and supportive, and I always strive to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and learn at their own pace. My goal is not only to help improve grades, but also to help students build confidence and develop stronger study and problem-solving skills that will benefit them long term.
As someone who understands that every student learns differently, I adapt my teaching style to match each student’s individual needs. Whether a student needs homework help, test preparation, or extra practice with difficult concepts, I aim to make learning more manageable, engaging, and less stressful.

My approach as a tutor is centered around patience, encouragement, and helping students truly understand math instead of just memorizing answers. I work with elementary and middle school students in subjects such as basic math, pre-algebra, and algebra, and I always adapt my teaching style depending on each student’s learning pace and needs.
A typical lesson includes reviewing homework or difficult concepts first, followed by guided practice problems and step-by-step explanations. I also like to help students build better study habits, confidence, and problem-solving skills so they feel more comfortable participating in class and taking tests independently.
What sets me apart is my supportive and approachable teaching style. As a college student myself, I understand how frustrating math can sometimes feel, so I focus on creating a positive and low-stress learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. My lessons are best for elementary and middle school students who need extra support with homework, test preparation, organization, or strengthening their understanding of math fundamentals.
