About Sairah
I am a student in college who has experience in tutoring students in the years below me (year 10 and below) in English literature and language. I am currently studying English Lit and Lang at college too; I'm very passionate about the subject and enjoy it alot. I achieved grades 7 + 6 due to the grading system created by covid 19, but had been able to achieve grade 8 in mock exams before that. In primary school, I had achieved the highest grade possible in reading comprehension for my SATs, and had been selected amongst a few students to take a higher level exam.

I like to start with whatever a student struggles with the most; I get them to note down what their weakest topic is and then put together a curriculum suitable for focusing on weak topics and touching up on the remaining topics. I like to use exam questions and use a students answers to give back feedback on what they could do better, and then have them apply the new skills I've taught them in another exam question to analyse how fast they're progressing. Exam questions were extremely useful to me in secondary school and so I think it is a critical part of any curriculum.
