About Tristan
I am a college student who’s double majoring in English and Spanish and minoring in TEFL (teaching English as a foreign language). As a native English speaker who’s approaching fluency in Spanish as a second language, I know language learning is a lifelong process. I would be honored to be part of your language learning process, because learning about languages and culture is one of my biggest passions.
With regards to guitar and ukulele, I’ve been playing both for over ten years. It’s often said that music is a universal language, and I would be honored to be part of your music learning process as well.

I teach beginner and intermediate Spanish and English students and guitar learners. In our first lesson, we’ll assess your learning needs and then figure out your lesson plan from there. I aim to combine an emphasis on practicality – for example, passing your class if you’re struggling – with the creation of a love for learning. After all, it’s a lot easier to do your classwork when you have a passion for what you’re studying!
As someone who’s on the autism spectrum and has ADHD, I understand that learning isn’t always easy for everybody. I pride myself on drawing from my experience as a neurodivergent person (a person who isn’t neurotypical) and a non-traditional student who’s returning to college in my late twenties. ¡Me encantaría ayudarte con tu aprendizaje!
