About Sofia
All lessons will center around objectives established on the first meeting; whether you simply want to improve your essay writing skills or have a specific score you want on your next standardized test, I will work with tye student to create a research based and comprehensive learning plan that incorporates lessons that are interest based and offer additional free practice materials. Feedback on work will always be made available, and regular mutual feedback and check-in sessions are a must to ensure I am best supporting you as a learner.

I got a 730/800 on the SAT reading and writing portion my first time as a junior in highschool scoring in the 99th percentile and got 5s on both my AP Lang and AP Lit exams. Having taught other languages, I have a good understanding of the fundamentals of grammar. As a Philosophy and Journalism student in my last year of my degree, I have extensive experience reading and writing; as a student with learning disabilities who has taught students with learning disabilities, I am great at creating lessons for different learning styles and needs.
