About Nguyễn Huỳnh
English is my second language. Thus, I understand that it is not an easy subject sometimes, but I have learned that it doesn't necessarily have to be tedious. In fact, I can teach you not only the language itself, but also the ways in which you can make your language learning experience more immersive and enjoyable. I have a lot of experience with peer tutoring, and I have helped many of my past students pass their exams with flying colors. I have also recently graduated high school, so I have a clear image of the college application experience and may relate to many high school students as well.

As a tutor, I like to have my students learn from error by taking mock tests or producing first drafts. That way, I would know which direction to personalize my lesson plans by observing and realizing their strengths and weaknesses in English. I also like to introduce them to the resources that helped me when I was still learning English and/or writing my college essay. A typical lesson with me might include reviewing previous material and fixing mistakes, then discussing a new technique or an interesting point from the mock tests or example essays, followed by doing exercises and quizzes or editing drafts. If need be or requested, I might occasionally add some homework (optional) to refine your skills. If you are a high school student studying for the IELTS or SAT, or applying for college, I might be able to help you as I have just experienced all of these myself the previous years.
