College Writing Instructor tutoring on essay composition and literacy in Northwest Indiana.

I trained Kayla as a Writing Center tutor many years ago, when she was early on in her undergraduate years. She was a natural from the beginning and always a pleasure to work with -- not only as a trainer but as a fellow tutor. Kayla also spent a couple of semesters as my supplemental instructor (similar in position to a teaching assistant). She was wonderful! She helped present lessons, worked one-on-one with students to help them understand concepts with which they struggled, and excelled at helping guide students through difficult parts of essay writing. I have heard the same from all other instructors lucky enough to have worked with her -- Kayla is an asset to all students who cross her path!
