About David
I am a children's book illustrator and writer. I have published two books that I have both written and illustrated as well as showcasing my illustration work in various children's magazines.
I have been drawing since I was about 7 and work mainly in ink and watercolour.

In my 45-minute drawing lesson, we will look at my drawing techniques. Starting with developing a good understanding of your skill and level we will move through a step-by-step guide to improving your drawing by developing marking-making techniques and basic essential shape development.
We will learn about composition and how it plays an important role in illustration as well as how to capture perspective and movement.
