About Evie
I’ve always found that the best way to properly understand something is to explain it to someone else, and maths especially just makes sense to me in a way I want to pass on. I remember what it’s like sitting in a classroom not quite getting something and being too embarrassed to ask again, so I want to be the person who doesn’t mind explaining it a third or fourth time until it actually sticks. I’m continuing into Electrical Engineering at Cardiff University this September after finishing my foundation year there, and I want to keep that link to maths alive alongside my degree. There’s honestly nothing better than that moment when a topic finally clicks for someone. I’m not trying to lecture, I just want to help people get to a point where they feel confident going into an exam instead of dreading it.

Hi, My name's Evie and I am an Electrical Engineering student who loves teaching Maths. I know how frustrating it can be when a topic just won’t click, so I try to break things down properly rather than rushing through. I tutor online, so lessons are flexible and easy to fit around school or college. Whether you need help catching up, building confidence, or just want someone patient to go over things at your own pace, I’m happy to help — drop me a message and we can figure out what works best for you.
