About Cara
Hi! I’m an A-Level student with a real passion for English and a dream of becoming a teacher when I finish my studies. I’ve always loved reading and have had a particular interest in English from a young age.
My love of books has definitely followed me around — my house could practically be a library! I especially enjoy classic children’s authors such as Roald Dahl and Enid Blyton, and The Railway Children is a personal favourite.
I want to teach because I believe English should be something children can enjoy, rather than something they find stressful. I’d love to help my students develop their reading, writing and communication skills while building their confidence and encouraging their own love of stories and books.
As someone who hopes to become a teacher in the future, tutoring is a wonderful opportunity for me to gain experience while helping younger students discover how enjoyable English can be.

I am a friendly and patient student who achieved an A in English GCSE. I offer supportive English tutoring for primary school children, helping with reading, spelling, grammar, punctuation, comprehension and creative writing.
I understand that every child learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to suit their individual needs and make learning enjoyable and engaging. I aim to build confidence as well as improve academic ability, creating a relaxed environment where children feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes.
As a student myself, I can offer a relatable and encouraging approach while helping pupils make genuine progress in English.
