About Kanika
Hello! I am an educator who believes that every child has a unique voice, and English is the key to helping them express it. My journey with the English language began not just as a subject in school, but as a gateway to stories, ideas, and confidence.
Who I Am
I am a Graduate in English Literature / Certified Teacher with a deep-rooted passion for the nuances of language. Over the years, I have realized that many students struggle with English not because it’s hard, but because it is often taught in a way that feels disconnected from real life. I have dedicated my career to changing that narrative for school students.
Why I Want to Share My Knowledge
I choose to teach because there is nothing more rewarding than seeing a student’s 'Aha!' moment—that second when a difficult grammar rule finally clicks, or when they suddenly find themselves lost in the world of a great book.

My 3-Pillar Approach:
Grammar through Logic, Not Rote: I don’t just teach rules; I teach the 'why' behind them. Using visual aids and sentence-building games, I make grammar feel like a puzzle rather than a chore.
Literature as an Experience: Instead of reading summaries, I help students 'walk' through the story. We analyze character motives and themes together, which naturally helps them write high-scoring, original answers in their exams.
Active Reading & Vocabulary: I use the 'Contextual Learning' method. Instead of memorizing word lists, students learn new vocabulary through engaging texts, improving both their reading speed and their speaking confidence.
