About Celine
Hello! My name is Celine, and I am a professional German educator dedicated to bridging the cultural and linguistic gap between Malaysia and Germany. My journey with teaching the German language began over 10 years ago, and I have since turned that passion into a career helping others unlock the doors that German fluency opens.
For me, teaching is more than just delivering a curriculum; it is about empowerment. My teaching philosophy is built on the Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) approach. I believe that a language is a living tool, not just a set of grammar rules to be memorized.
My Techniques and Methodology I use a "flipped classroom" style where we focus our face-to-face time on active speaking and listening.
Immersive Learning: From day one, I encourage students to speak in German, using visual aids and context to bridge the gap.
Multimedia Integration: I use authentic German materials, including news clips, podcasts, and digital whiteboards, to make lessons interactive.
Structured Grammar: While we focus on speaking, I provide clear, easy-to-digest "Cheat Sheets" for complex German grammar like cases and word order.
