About Agwu
My name is Agwu Chigozie Emmanuel (Dynamics), a Computer Engineering undergraduate at the University of Benin with over 4 years of experience teaching Mathematics, Physics, Further Mathematics, and Statistics.
I have a strong passion for helping students understand challenging concepts and develop confidence in STEM subjects. My goal as a tutor is to make learning simple, engaging, and accessible by breaking down complex topics into clear and practical explanations.
Through my academic training in Computer Engineering and years of tutoring experience, I have developed strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills that help me connect with students at different learning levels. I enjoy creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, improving their skills, and achieving their academic goals.
I believe that with the right guidance, consistency, and learning approach, every student can improve and excel.

I believe every student can excel in Mathematics and Science when concepts are taught in a simple, structured, and practical way. With over 4 years of teaching experience, I specialize in Mathematics, Physics, Further Mathematics, and Statistics, helping students develop confidence, improve problem-solving skills, and achieve better academic results.
My teaching methodology focuses on understanding rather than memorization. I first identify each student's strengths, weaknesses, and learning goals, then create a personalized approach that suits their pace. I use step-by-step explanations, real-life applications, diagrams, interactive discussions, worked examples, and continuous practice exercises to make difficult concepts easier to understand. I also use past examination questions and assessment tests to track progress and prepare students effectively for exams.
My lessons are designed for WAEC, NECO, JAMB, Post-UTME, 100-level university students, and learners who need support in STEM-related courses. Each lesson typically lasts between 1 to 2 hours, depending on the student's level, goals, and areas that require attention.
As a Computer Engineering undergraduate, I bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills into my teaching, helping students not only prepare for exams but also develop a deeper understanding of mathematical and scientific concepts. My goal is to make learning engaging, effective, and rewarding for every student.

I am Jessica, a student of the University of Benin. I again met Agwu Chigozie Emmanuel (Dynamics) during my 100-level journey at UNIBEN after I was admitted to study Science Laboratory Technology (SLT). I needed academic guidance, especially in Mathematics and Physics, so I reached out to him for help. He patiently taught me and also helped my two friends, Esohe and Lizzy, improve academically.
His teaching approach was different because he did not just focus on giving answers; he made sure we understood the concepts, solved problems step by step, and developed confidence in our abilities. His explanations made difficult topics in Calculus, Algebra, and Physics much easier to understand.
Through his guidance and consistent support, I was able to perform excellently in my courses, scoring an A in Calculus and Algebra and a B in PHY124. These results contributed greatly to my successful transfer from SLT into Nursing Science.
I also knew him before university, during my JAMB preparation at Mega Minds Tutorial, where his teaching and encouragement played a major role in helping me gain admission into the University of Benin.
Agwu is a dedicated, patient, and knowledgeable tutor who genuinely cares about his students' success. I confidently recommend him to anyone looking for a tutor who can simplify complex topics and help students achieve their academic goals.View more recommendations
