About Adam
I am a software engineer who has been teaching for 2 years now. I have always had an interest in problem solving, hence my career path, and find maths goes hand in hand with that. I have taught maths from 11 plus standard through to A-level having got a minimum of an A grade in all of these myself.

I try to encourage the same enthusiasm about the subject that I have, showing real world applications to stop the common phrase "when will I ever use this". In teaching this way it helps increase their ability to remember subject matter - having a wider range of associations and increases their general knowledge and understanding of the world around them. I teach using the syllabus and my own understanding of the exams - having not to long ago done them myself. My year was also the first year to do the "new" GCSEs and A levels so I am familiar with the format and the exam techniques to get the most out of the exam.

Adam has always been truly excited by Computing, he has a deep passion for the subject that pushes him to learn new topics. If it weren't for him helping me, I doubt I would've made it as far as I did through my Computing course.

Lessons usually exceed an hour - I prefer to come to the end of something than cut you off. Prices also include homework, marking and callout (a service I offer where pupils can message me anytime they are stuck with a question and I will typically respond within an hour)
