About Jack
I want to teach students because I thoroughly enjoy teaching and find joy in helping others. I understand from first-hand experience how significant an effect a passionate and encouraging teacher can have on a student and I want to encourage genuine curiosity about subjects that can often be taught in an overly systematic manner.

I adapt my teaching methods and the lesson structure & content to best suit each student; in general, I want to encourage and use a student's inquisitiveness to drive them to solve problems. I approach everything from the ground up, ensuring that the basics of each topic are well understood before moving onto more advanced subjects. Lessons are typically ~1 hour - variable. The lessons are for Scottish students studying National 5 - Advanced Higher level courses.
