About Yash
Hello! I am a computer science researcher with a passion for the logic behind the numbers.
Currently, I am pursuing my master’s degree in computer science, specializing in computer vision.
Why choose me as your tutor?
Because I use math and physics every single day to build digital worlds. My work involves creating 3D graphics and simulating reality, which means I don't just know the textbook definitions of algebra or trigonometry, but I know how they are used to build the technology we use today.
I believe that math and physics are the "language of the universe." My goal is to help students stop fearing these subjects and start seeing them as powerful tools for understanding how the world works. I am patient, logic-driven, and deeply committed to helping students find that "aha!" moment where a difficult concept finally clicks.
I have a strong multicultural background and am fluent in English and Hindi.

Teaching Methodology: Understanding the Language of the Universe
Logic Over Memorization: I discourage rote memorization of formulas. Instead, I treat every math problem like a real-world scenario. We use simple logic to deduce *how* things work. By understanding the underlying principles, students learn to think critically rather than just searching for the "one correct way" to solve a problem.
Real-World Application: I bridge the gap between textbook theory and reality. Whether we are discussing algebra or physics, I frame problems in contexts students can understand and verify with their own intuition.
The "Engineer’s Mindset": As a computer scientist, I teach students to approach problems methodically. We break complex scenarios down into small, logical steps. This builds confidence and teaches students that even the hardest problems are solvable if you approach them with the right logic.
Typical Lesson Structure (60 Minutes):
First 5-10 mins: Review of previous homework or topics to ensure retention.
Next 30-40 mins: Introduction of a new concept followed by guided problem-solving. I solve one, we solve one together, and then the student solves one.
Last 10 mins: Summary of the lesson and assigning targeted practice problems for the next session.
My Qualifications & Experience
I am currently a master’s student in computer science specializing in computer vision and AR/VR technologies. My work involves using advanced mathematics to create digital worlds, giving me a unique perspective on how to teach these subjects practically and visually.
Who are these lessons for?
I teach exclusively online and cater to students from primary school up to 10th grade (junior cycle/GCSE level).
These lessons are perfect for students who want to move beyond memorization and truly understand the logic and beauty of math and physics.
Note: I am fluent in English and Hindi and can explain concepts in these languages if it helps the student feel more comfortable.
Recommendations

What you need for learning Math in a way that you start loving it is a teacher who is passionate about making students understand and remember Math and the essence of it by simplifying so-called complex jargons and connecting it to daily life and things. Yash is definitely that teacher for you!
I know Yash as an excellent software engineer and a friend.
His mathematics and analytical skills are phenomenal and his teaching methods are such that he would try and make you understand the core concept behind any process rather than just remembering it.
When solving DSA, he used to come up with mathematical approaches to solve problems with ease and was able to make me understand it as well.View more recommendations
