About Archie
Hi!
I'm Archie, a Computer Science graduate from the University of Exeter, throughout education I often found that I needed a bit of extra help beyond the classroom, and because of the amazing support I was given I found my passion and have taken it through university.
Having teaching experience in classrooms I was able to see first-hand the experience I was afforded growing up but from the other side, an experience which I deem invaluable.
Having Dyspraxia I am very well suited to helping those with learning difficulties with a wealth of experience teaching those with these conditions.

I have previously taught computer science and programming for every age range between 8-18 and have a wealth of experience helping students at all levels achieve their potential.
Having Dyspraxia myself and lots of experience teaching those with various learning difficulties I am very capable of helping students no matter the situation and can develop specific strategies for dealing with these.
The A-Level and GCSE lessons will be curated to students' weak -points, curating them around what they need to work on the most whilst increasing the understanding of why things are done.
The programming lessons can focus on specific weak areas to become a stronger general software developer or work through a beginner's curriculum in python culminating in a project that will test all of the skills we have learned so far.
My personal teaching philosophy is to help students come up with methods and thought processes that work for them in understanding the curriculum. Developing memorable strategies to break down complicated topics into easy-to-understand parts, a skill that can be used in all areas.
I like to keep the lessons interesting and engaging, focusing on areas that the students themselves are interested in and want to push as in my experience this has had the highest success rate
