About Arash
Hi! I'm Arash, a computer scientist with a PhD specialising in Natural Language Processing, with a strong background in mathematics and programming.
I have taught 700+ university students as a Teaching Assistant across many courses such as AI, Data Science, Python Programming and Maths, and have also taught small Master's-level courses to international groups. I really enjoy helping students who feel that a subject is "too complicated" or who aren't sure where they're getting stuck.
Why learn with me?
* PhD in NLP
* BSc in Computer Science with extensive mathematics coursework (GPA: 16/20)
* Experience teaching 700+ university students
* Experience teaching Master's-level courses to international students
* Patient, structured and focused on understanding rather than memorisation
* Lessons adapted to your current level and the specific things you're struggling with
If you're struggling with Python, maths, or a computer science topic and don't know where to start, get in touch! we can figure out what you need help with and work from there.

My approach is simple: first understand what you're missing, then break the problem down into manageable pieces and build your understanding step by step. I don't just want you to memorise a solution — I want you to understand why it works.

For someone who is dyscalculic and really hates math and anything numbers-related, Arash makes them fun. He has immense patience for my repeated questions and takes time to provide well thought out answers. He explains complex problems really well and his style of teaching is really inclusive! Definitely recommend him as a supertutor!
