About Samuel

I'm a PhD student and Teaching Assistant at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC), with a bachelor's degree from Colby College. My academic background and teaching experience have strengthened my ability to explain challenging concepts clearly and work with students at different learning levels.

I enjoy helping students build confidence in mathematics and develop strong problem-solving skills. I'm patient, approachable, and committed to creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.

About the lesson

I'm a PhD student and Teaching Assistant at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). Through my teaching experience, I've developed a patient, supportive approach to helping students understand challenging concepts and improve their problem-solving skills.

I offer lessons in Algebra, Geometry, Precalculus, Calculus, Statistics, and general Mathematics for middle school, high school, and college students. Whether you're preparing for exams, struggling with homework, or strengthening your mathematical foundation, I tailor each lesson to your needs and learning pace.

During our lessons, we'll identify areas you're struggling with, break down difficult concepts using simple examples, and work through practice problems together. My goal is to help you understand why each step works rather than simply memorizing formulas, so you can confidently solve problems on your own.
