About Alec
I have a Master's degree in Computer Science and four years of professional development as a software developer. I have a strong familiarity with learning programming concepts from the ground up while also having plenty of knowledge that I can use to supplement and enhance your learning process. On top of that, this is not my first tutoring job, so I'm fairly adept translating concepts into ways that new learners can more easily understand.

As a tutor, I like to gently guide my students to the correct solution. I relate difficult concepts with examples and familiar real-world situations that can make abstract ideas more clear, and I'm always happy to answer questions.
More importantly than that, though, I both clearly remember my steps of learning through college while also having real-world experience in the Software Development field. This enables me to relate to the learning process of my students while also being able to provide them with advice to prepare them for the industry they are moving towards.
My lessons are mostly for those fairly new to the programming world. Anyone at any point of working toward their 4-year degree or even just absolute beginners.
