About Matthew
I am a qualified teacher who has been working for over a decade in secondary schools. I am passionate about supporting pupils with a love of computer science who want to develop as computer scientists and develop their grades. I have taught computer science to 1000s of students over the past decade, inspiring many to take the subject at degree level.
I have led professional CPD for teachers of computer science, including a python programming development course and a computer science conference for over 500 secondary school teachers from all over the UK.

My teaching methodology is based on practical activities coupled with reflective discussions and tasks. The first step to be a programmer is being able to read code and predict what outcomes will be. Following this methodology allows for a deeper understanding of the process of programming.
