About Ruby
I am currently studying Game Design with Animation at Staffordshire University, which is one of the top institutions in the UK for this field. Computer science is not just my degree; it is my absolute passion. When I am not coding or studying, you will usually find me playing video games—Persona 5 is one of my all-time favourites! I took Computer Science at A-Level, so I know exactly what you are going through right now. That experience taught me a massive lesson: mastering this subject requires consistent study and hands-on practice. It is not just about memorising facts; it is about building things and solving puzzles. I want to help you bridge the gap between complex code and real-world results. I am here to guide you. We will focus on practice and smart study habits to make concepts stick. Let's smash your computer science goals together!

Master Computer Science: From First Code to GCSE Success!
Is your child struggling to wrap their head around Python loops, or do they find Binary logic a bit of a "0" instead of a "1"? Computer Science is one of the most rewarding subjects a student can take, but it can also be one of the most daunting. I’m here to bridge that gap.
I offer expert, personalised tutoring for children of all ages, specialising in the GCSE Computer Science curriculum. Whether it’s OCR, AQA, or Edexcel, I help students turn complex theory into practical confidence.

Ruby is a very patient and knowledgeable tutor. She explains things well and I have no hesitation in recommending her.
Ruby is such a patient and amazing computer science tutor. She explains things so clearly, never rushes you, and always makes learning feel much less overwhelming. She’s incredibly supportive and genuinely cares about helping her students understand and succeed. I’d highly recommend her to anyone looking for help with computer science!
Ruby worked with my daughter for her Year 10 mocks for Computer Science. She was very patient and talked with my daughter who was quite confused with some of the vocabulary used in this subject. I can not recommend Ruby enough.
One of the most intelligent persons I know. Ruby's recent narration for her university computer design course mastered clarity and simplified a complex process. She has a clear calm delivery that gets straight to the point.
Ruby is a fantastic, dedicated and resilient learner/teacher. She has a positive mindset and a kind way of teaching others. Computer science can be tricky but Ruby was so patient with me and supported me through anything I found challenging. She was calm and clear when explaining things and would always find another way of helping me if I was still finding it difficult. She is an amazing teacher and I would recommend her to anyone!
