About Evan
I am Evan, an 18 year old student with a few years of tutoring under my belt already. For me, piano is truly a passion and I wish to share and inspire that passion with others.
I am currently quite a distinct level, having mastered pieces such as:
-'Revolutionary' etude -Chopin
-'Elegie'-Rachmaninoff
-'Prelude in C# minor'- Rachmaninoff
etc.
I believe that piano goes beyond simply learning the text, and playing them. I wish to show to all of my students how to add the final level of musicality that transcends ordinary playing.
(A little something that comes in quite handy within the context of exams ;)

I specialize in classical piano, particularly the romantic period.
My approach to teaching quite goal oriented, it's my imperative that a student sets out with a desire to attain a certain level of skill, or to master a certain piece; and then gets there.
I believe in flexibility, yet also in pushing my students to achieve beyond what they think they are capable of; as that is what breeds true progress and inspiration.
