About Karthik
I started playing violin at the age of 5 and have been actively performing since the age of 9. I have undergone training in Carnatic under eminent musicians and been the recipient of many awards including the most coveted Guinness World Records. I have collaborated with some of the leading musicians of the world and founder of World Fusion band consisting of international musicians, Karthik Subramany Live. After completing Northwestern University’s “Teaching the Violin and Viola: Creating a Healthy Foundation,” I was chosen as a community mentor on Coursera to help guide other teachers. I have taught students ranging from age 5 until 75. My goal is to spread violin education whilst making violin learning simple and fun to students. I have been conducting violin classes online for more than a decade and trained more than 500 students from nearly 100 countries so far.
