About Sahamanosh
Hello! I'm Manosh, a Master's (MASc) student in Chemical and Materials Engineering at Concordia University and a Teaching Assistant for Engineering Mathematics and Mechanical Engineering courses. With a strong academic background in Mechanical Engineering and Physics, along with research and industry experience, I understand the challenges students face when learning complex STEM subjects.
As a Teaching Assistant, I have guided university students through calculus, differential equations, engineering design, and problem-solving, helping them strengthen both their understanding and confidence. My experience in research, combined with internships at Ford Motor Company and the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), allows me to explain not only the theory but also how engineering and mathematics are applied in real-world situations.
I am patient, approachable, and committed to creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. Every lesson is carefully prepared and tailored to the student's goals, whether it's improving grades, preparing for exams, completing assignments, or building a solid foundation for future studies.
My objective is simple: to help students become confident, independent learners who truly understand the material rather than just memorizing formulas. I look forward to helping you achieve your academic goals and making mathematics, physics, and engineering both understandable and enjoyable.

I believe that the best way to learn is by understanding concepts rather than memorizing formulas. My teaching approach focuses on building a strong foundation, explaining the "why" behind every concept, and then reinforcing that understanding through carefully selected examples and problem-solving exercises. I encourage students to ask questions freely and adapt my teaching style to suit each student's pace and learning needs.
A typical lesson begins with a brief review of previous material to strengthen retention. I then introduce new concepts using simple explanations and real-world engineering or scientific examples whenever possible. Together, we work through guided examples before moving on to independent practice with increasing levels of difficulty. At the end of each session, I summarize the key takeaways, address any remaining questions, and provide practice problems or study strategies to help students continue improving on their own.
What sets me apart is my combination of teaching, research, and industry experience. I am currently pursuing a Master of Applied Science (MASc) in Chemical and Materials Engineering at Concordia University and serve as a Teaching Assistant for Engineering Mathematics (Transform Calculus and Partial Differential Equations) and Machine Element Design. In addition, my research in machine learning for engineering applications, along with engineering experience at Ford Motor Company and the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), enables me to connect theoretical concepts with practical applications. My goal is not only to help students achieve higher grades but also to develop their analytical thinking, confidence, and long-term problem-solving skills.
My lessons are suitable for high school, CEGEP, undergraduate, and early graduate students. I teach Mathematics, Calculus, Differential Equations, Physics, Mechanical Engineering fundamentals, Materials Science, Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, MATLAB, and introductory Python for engineering applications. Whether you are preparing for an exam, struggling with coursework, or aiming to deepen your understanding of engineering and science, I will provide personalized guidance to help you reach your academic goals.
