About Jamie
Hello, my name is Jamie March.
After achieving a 9 in GCSE music and an A* in A-Level music, I went on to study conducting, music history and analysis at the University of Manchester.
I currently study violin with Kevin Flynn, sub-principle of the BBC Philharmonic as well as Early Opera with Professor Rebecca Herissone, Schenkerian Analysis with Dr Sarah Moynihan and conducting with Peter Stark (Royal College of Music) and Robert Guy of the NEW Sinfonia.
I have conducted a range of ensembles and works with the University of Manchester symphony orchestra and I enjoy teaching young people music history at Children's Charity Holidays.
