About the lesson

I am a confident and enthusiastic graduate of Music Performance/Education - gaining a 2:1 degree from York St John University. I make my tutoring sessions as fun and as engaging for the students, as I believe this creates a positive learning environment. I have had previous experience tutoring Violin, Viola and Music Theory in both small groups and one to one. As well as this, I have completed various teaching placements in schools across the City of York - teaching in whole classes and private teaching. I have had experience with a range of abilities and am able to tailor tutoring sessions to the individual needs, allowing the student to receive the best possible learning experience. I am able to teach up to A-level in Music Theory, as well as up to Grade 8 on both the Violin and Viola.
