About Chloe
With more than 9 years of teaching experience, I am a professional Flute tutor guiding School students, College students, and working professionals in a supportive and organised learning environment.
My tutoring style is calm, encouraging, and well-structured, focusing on strong fundamentals such as breath control, posture correction, finger accuracy, tone clarity, rhythm precision, and musical expression.
I ensure lessons are adjusted to match each student’s learning pace and goals. In addition to flute training, I teach music theory, notation reading, sight reading, rhythm exercises, scale practice, ear training, and performance techniques to build complete musical understanding.
I also help students prepare confidently for exams and performances. My strength lies in motivating students through clear guidance, structured practice plans, and continuous encouragement, helping them grow into confident and independent musicians.

My teaching approach for flute is designed to combine clear communication, creative learning, and flexible instruction to help students achieve steady progress and musical confidence. I explain flute techniques in simple and clear language, using demonstrations to ensure proper understanding. I encourage open communication so students feel comfortable asking questions and sharing their challenges.
Creativity is incorporated through warm-ups, rhythm exercises, tone-building activities, improvisation, and expressive music practice that make lessons dynamic and enjoyable. Lessons are personalised to each student’s learning pace, goals, and strengths, whether they are learning for exams, performances, or personal interest.
Flute instruction includes breathing techniques, posture, embouchure, finger coordination, articulation, scales, rhythm, and sight reading. Alongside flute, I also teach supporting subjects such as music theory, note reading, rhythm training, ear training, and performance preparation to develop well-rounded and confident musicians.
