About Tiia
I graduated from the University of Turku in the summer of 2021 with a master's degree in musicology. Before that, I studied to be a musician at the Turku Conservatory in 2014-2016 with a major in classical piano and a minor in classical singing. I have taught piano under the City of Turku in 2016-2020. So teaching is very familiar to me.

I am an inspiring, encouraging and empathetic teacher who always, above all, strives to take into account that students really learn in class and enjoy themselves at the same time. I reflect on my own actions and modify them based on the feedback I receive and my own observations. It is important to me that I arouse my student’s enthusiasm for music and piano playing and try my best to support the student on his or her musical path.
