About Olu
I transitioned into the software development area some 24 years ago, following a humanities degree, and completed a post-graduate qualification in Information Management, alongside multiple computer programming professional qualifications.
The realisation that every area of will be impacted by computers led me to take the move into the computer science field. While my area of expertise is in software development and data processing, I did spend a chunk of my time understanding the hardware side and the systems administration side of computer systems, in order to get a complete view of the industry.

My approach involves identifying the student's understanding of the topics covered in the new 9-1 GCSE Computer Science curriculum, strengthen their knowledge base in those areas they are comfortable with and approach the more difficult areas from a practical real world scenarios. I find this helps to establish and solidify their understanding of the topics. I also look at the mark schemes and try to focus students on how best to answer the questions in a way that maximises their marks.
