Selina (Temi) was an exemplary role model and immersed herself fully in the life of the School community and grasped every opportunity on offer to her, both in the academic and extracurricular arena. Selina was a student who constantly took delight in new challenges, she was wonderfully engaging, popular, compassionate, always sensitive to the needs of others and at the same time appreciative of difference. Her work ethic was exemplary and she could not have done more during this key period of revision and examinations and her recent success in her A Levels is testimony to this. I know that she would relish the opportunity to share her academic enthusiasms with others. What makes Selina standout is the breadth of her extracurricular interests, all of which she manages effectively alongside a demanding academic schedule. She has also successfully applied to university, achieving not only her first choice, that of King’s but also, an academic scholarship.
Selina has so many impressive qualities, as well as such a lovely sense of fun. She has led by example, is bright, confident and resourceful. Selina is an incredibly diligent and deep thinking student. She worked hard to understand how to do as well as possible and this resulted in an outstanding result in History. She is enthusiastic about all learning and worked to help others in her class by sharing materials and devising effective revision strategies. Selina really does crave an understanding of many areas and sought to extend her historical understanding beyond the specifications of her subjects.
