About Freya
Freya is a bona fide vocal technique expert - and is one of the only teachers in the region to have gained Estill Voice certification. Freya also holds a First Class BA(hons) in Professional Musicianship from BIMM Bristol, a Master of Music Degree in Vocal Performance from the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance (ICMP), and a Professional Diploma in Vocal Performance from VocalTech. As a teacher, Freya has taught for several organisations, including BIMM London, Access To Music, The Academy of Music And Sound, TheatreTrain, Stagecoach Theatre Arts, and The Rock Project. She has also taught all ages and abilities in her private practice for 15 years. As a performer, Freya has accumulated hundreds of stage and studio hours. From top-tier corporate functions in London’s most iconic venues to collaborating with charting producers and songwriters. She is also a member of the hallowed Cirque du Soleil casting database. Furthermore, Freya was a lead writer and project manager for VoiceCouncil.com, which was the biggest international website for singers. In this time, she interviewed and collaborated with an endless array of renowned performers, authors, educators, and scientists. Freya offers private voice lessons in her cosy home in Seaford or a dedicated music studio in Eastbourne, both based in East Sussex. Lessons are £40 in Seaford or £50 in Eastbourne. Block booking discounts are available. Freya also teaches online. PLEASE NOTE: The free lesson offered through Superprofs is a 20 minute consultation via Zoom.
