About Evie
As an ESL tutor with 9 years of experience, I have worked with more than 150 high school and college students, helping them build strong English skills for academic achievement and everyday communication. My teaching philosophy emphasises communication, creativity, and individualised instruction. I believe that each student learns differently, and I design lessons tailored to their goals, interests, and learning style. My classes are interactive and practical, incorporating reading, writing, listening, and speaking exercises alongside discussions, role-plays, and real-life examples. I focus on helping students develop confidence, critical thinking skills, and the ability to express themselves clearly in English. Many students who were once hesitant speakers have gone on to excel in exams, presentations, and academic writing. I aim to create a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment where students feel motivated, confident, and excited to learn English.

My ESL teaching approach focuses on practical and interactive learning. I help students improve speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills through real-life examples and communication exercises. Grammar and vocabulary are explained simply and immediately applied in conversations and writing tasks. Communication is encouraged in every class to build fluency and confidence. Along with ESL, I also teach related subjects such as Spoken English, Business English, Academic English, Writing Skills, Reading Comprehension, and Interview Preparation. Accountability supports steady improvement with clear goals and regular feedback. Integrity guides my teaching with honesty, respect, and care. My aim is to help learners speak English effectively in real situations.
