About Trey
Experience in traditional classrooms as well as homeschool and special needs institutions. I pride myself on my ability to adapt under any parameters and most of all to empathize with my students. Empathy is one of the most critical characteristics of an effective teacher because it's neccesary in order to build rapport with students as well discover the teaching method that best suits them. Emory University alumni with concentration in Educational Studies. Teachers Aid at North Druid High school, special needs English Language Arts teacher, and homeschool teacher for autistic student.

No matter the challenge or curriculum, my teaching method is always based in culturally relevant pedagogy. My responsibility is to not only pass on the knowledge and discipline, but also teach the proper way of applying it. If students are not able to relate what they're learning in the classroom to their life experiences, then applying that knowledge will only be more difficult.
