About Jiya
With over 3 years of experience and an MSc in Applied Mathematics, I bring both depth and creativity to math education. My teaching goes beyond standard problem-solving—it's about understanding patterns, complexity, and the hidden structures within mathematics. I specialize in integrating chaos theory and fractal geometry to help students grasp how math connects to the natural world and complex systems. My teaching approach in Maths is focused, strategic, and tailored to each student's needs. I work with school and university students, guiding them through core topics like algebra, calculus, and statistics, while also preparing them for competitive exams such as the SAT, GRE, and GMAT. I design custom study plans based on the student’s strengths and weaknesses.
For test preparation, I emphasize time-bound problem-solving to build speed and accuracy. We practice with real test formats, targeted drills, and full-length mock tests to reduce surprises on exam day. I help students recognize common traps in questions and teach them how to avoid careless mistakes.
I also spend time explaining the logic behind each concept using simple language and real-world examples.
