About Owami
Hello! My name is Owami, and I am from South Africa. I am a friendly, patient, and enthusiastic English tutor with native-like English fluency. I enjoy helping people learn and gain confidence in using English in everyday situations. Although I am new to professional teaching, I have experience informally tutoring children in my neighborhood, helping them with English, reading, and homework. These experiences inspired me to pursue teaching because I enjoy seeing students grow in confidence and achieve their goals. I strive to create a supportive, engaging, and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and improving at their own pace. I look forward to helping learners of all ages develop their English skills and enjoy the learning process.
