About Armineh
My background is anthropology, psychology, and acting. I am a creative psychological anthropologist with specific focus on cohesive identity formation.
I have an enhanced DBS check, and can tailor my sessions for younger minds as well, with 6 years of tutoring experience, supporting with studies and personality growth upon parental consent
Fascinated by the mind and helping students harness their own potential, I approach each student (whether adult or minor) with an inquisitive mind. We will discover together what your goals are and how exactly we can get there. Finding our place in society can be daunting task, and these sessions make the process a whole lot easier. We use interactive activities to self discover all whilst learning and following the government school curriculum. Basically everything at school with that extra attention all parents desire their children to receive.
You can aso discuss any particular faith lessons you’d like included in the session. This is totally optional.

It is a pleasure to have you here on this journey!
I cannot wait to meet your sproutlings (and establishing trees), continuing the process of discovering and nurturing their passions with them. I have six years experience of guiding and teaching students of various ages.
All lessons are preplanned, with the student's interests and passions intentionally worked into the teaching.
TEACHING TOOLS:
* Screen sharing facilities,
* co-writing, including mind-mapping and more
* illustrations
* key stage-relevant worksheets,
* quizzes / past exam questions (familiar with AQA, OCR, WJEC, Pearsons/Edexcel)
* recorded videos
* thought provoking, practical application in the world relevant to the student
WHO I WORK WITH:
Pupils desiring improvement in their subjects (who may not yet know they will enjoy the process!)
Particularly:
- those who may find typical lessons less engaging of their focus, and enjoy a more interactive, magical style of teaching.
- those who desire continuous encouragement, support, and prefer experimentation with various techniques & styles of teaching
- those who desire more effort and time to build a trusting connection with their tutor
- those who need fun as part of their learning experience (everyone!)
I prefer to work with one pupil on a number of subjects rather than one, as subjects can tie-in and feed into one another in explaining the world through a multi-disciplinary lens.
My Plan:
Building ongoing connection and tailoring my sessions to your child's/ your specific learning style and/or needs. This part is integral to the learning process, and our first session will ensure an in-depth understanding of the student's most aligned learning style.
