I bring over 15 years of experience teaching high school-level English and Creative Writing, along with a strong commitment to helping students grow as confident, capable writers and thinkers. As an educator, I combine professionalism, high academic standards, and a genuine love of learning. My background as an actor and musician allows me to bring creativity, energy, and clarity into every session, making lessons both engaging and effective. I love reading, recording music, watching college basketball, and finding ways to make learning enjoyable without losing focus or rigor. I can be serious when the work demands it and goofy when it helps break through frustration—but I am always dedicated to helping students find their voice, strengthen their skills, and believe in their own abilities.
