For me teaching is very rewarding, I am actively interested in other people, and love to find out about different cultures and world experience. I am a calm, patient and focused teacher who does not take themselves too seriously, and in my experience having fun is the best way to get learning done.

A relaxed, friendly approach to my lessons, students have the opportunity to ask questions, and to actually lead sessions. I am very focussed on giving my students agency. This way learning becomes active.
A typical lesson would include a catch up, around up of what we want to achieve in the lesson, a focussed learning period, a conversational section and a q and a at the end. This style of working has proved a success time and time again.
Depending on what we are learning about, i try and make lessons practical and will give students tasks to go away and practice/use.
I love books, films, tv shows, theatre and the arts so this is often a good place to start.
